Polynesian Cultural Center
The Polynesian Cultural Center has grown to become Hawaii's number one paid attraction. The center first opened in 1963 as a way to raise money for education by students of the Church College of Hawaii. Not only that, but the students also used the center to preserve and illustrate the Polynesian people's culture, arts, and crafts. Today, the PCC attracts nearly one million visitors per year.
